Chatelaine Designs!

Last month watching videos on youtube I found a nice girl her nickname is MrsMilkybarKid

and I was intrigued by a designer that she loves....... Chatelaine!!!!

When I saw her video about chatelaine's finishes I decided to search more about this charts because they look very dificult but very very beautiful. I found that you have to make "special stitches and stitch beads. My first feeling was that I want to do one Chatelaine but I don't know if I could, I've never stitched beads or work on linen or fabric counts like 28 or 32.

After some days of thinking I decided to give me a chance to prove myself with something new

I love three mandalas I will buy them slowly because they are expensive I don't know if I want to try stitching with silk or replace it with traditional DMC. I want to try the beads I think they look amazing, but I will buy my supplies a little every month hoping to start one in 2015.

Tapestry Cat

Last month was my birthday and my mother gave me a beautiful pattern called Tapestry Cat by Tereza Wentzler, really it looks a little dificult but I want to try something new

This will be my first time stitching with linen and beads I fell a little nervous about that!! anyway I will share with all of you my stitching progresses.

Last week I found a new cross stitch designer. Love Thy Thread

Of course I browse all the designs and I get in love inmediatly with a design called Cupid and Psyche

I couldn't wait more and choose the fabric and buy thread. now i can start it any time I want.

The chart isn't as large as the Heaven and Earth designs 

Finished Design Size 292 x 430 ( 11.5 W x 16.9 H when stitched on 25ct fabric)




La semana pasada me encontré con un nuevo diseñador de punto de cruz. Love Thy Thread 

Por supuesto chequé todos los diseños y enamoré  con un diseño llamado Cupid and Psique 


No podía esperar más y elegí la tela y compré los hilos. ahora puedo empezar en cualquier momento que quiera. 

El diseño no es tan grande como los Heaven and Earth designs


Terminado Diseño Tamaño 292 x 430 (11.5 W x 16.9 H cuando está cosido en la tela 25ct)

Hello!!

This time I want to share some things that I bought recently.  With my recent experience stitching a Dimensions Kit I discover that I love it, I found that they have a beautiful detail and the threads that includes the Kit are enough even you have some problems like knots and you have to cut the thread to keep going.

I don't have plans to start them soon, I want to finish the goddess of mercy and my grumpy cat and return to my beautiful Nocturne because I really miss her.

Anyway I found two amazing Kits:

Esta vez quiero compartir algunas cosas que he comprado recientemente. Con mi experiencia reciente bordando un Kit de la marca Dimensions descubrí que me gustó mucho, me encontré con que tienen un hermoso detalle y los hilos que incluye el kit son suficientes, incluso si se presentan  algunos problemas como los nudos y hay que cortar el hilo para seguir adelante, no hay problema de todos lo colores tuvo hilo sobrante.

After finishing my butterflies I decide to stitch another easy and fast project but this time will be a present for my mother.

I have finished Scene of Butterflies!!! I'm so proud of it !!  The butterflies are gorgeus I enjoyed a lot stitching this project.

Now I have to look a frame.    :)

Por fin terminé Scene of Butterflies!!  Estoy muy orgullosa y contenta con el resultado!! Disfruté mucho bordarlo :)

Butterfly Scene

Thinking this days about my finishes I feel a little sal, because Has been a long time since I finished a project, I know that the reason is because I focus on BAP's and finish one of them will take a long time.

Si I decided to stitch something easyer and fester than a HAED by the moment because I need the motivation and the happines of a finished project.

Searching in my stitching stuff I found a Kit that an aunt gave me two years ago, and I think is very pretty

Pensando en este día sobre mis proyectos terminados me siento algo triste, ya que ha pasado largo tiempo desde que terminé un proyecto, sé que la razón es porque me centro en proyectos gigantes y terminar uno lleva mucho tiempo. 

Así que me decidí a coser algo más facil y rapido que un Haed por el momento porque necesito la motivación y la felicidad de tener un proyecto terminado.

Buscando en mi colección de patrones, revistas y demás me encontré con un kit que una tía me regaló hace dos años, y creo que es muy bonito....

This days I've been working on Mystic Stitch, the progress was a little because the amount of confetti is huge!!
The good thing is that it is a medium size project so it will be easier to finish than a HAED.
